What is the difference between these two MAF? Is one made for a earlier h3?

 

My 2006 H3 uses the one on the left. Just cleaned it the other day.

 

and mine uses the one on the right but it’s a earlier 07 so I am wondering if I have the wrong MAF. Does anyone know if this makes a difference?

 

They work differently and fitment is different. Just stick to the one your truck came with

 

You are LOOKING at internet parts pictures, posted by Bozos that have no idea what the actual part looks like. It's called a "file photo" and has no representation in reality. Different years use different MAFs.

Use a real auto parts supplier, like RockAuto, GM Parts House, Wholesale GM parts online...... etc and use part numbers, not picture books.
