Gents, how would I know if my MAF sensor is about to die? im thinking h3 is running rich.

Have you cleaned it?
If not replacement is best bet?

thks C, yes i do clean my MAF every oil change,, i wonder if this reading confirm my MAF is doomed..time to order new MAF i guess truck is @ 190+K now

 

All GMs run rich, and the more mileage they get on them, the richer they become regardless of the cleanliness of your MAF.

You say you have cleaned your MAF. What did you clean it with?

Also, you are way ahead of the curve, most people NEVER clean their MAF

not sure if this really running rich. getting 10mpg according to my recon gauge, dont even knows how to read values on this freaking scanner,it just looks cool to me. only value i know is voltage,and coolant temp and VSS other than that am fecked up...

im not really paying attention to gas usage. i came from straight (6 ENVOY XL) down to straight 5(H3) but seems like it consumes the same and this scanner makes me check now .

my truck 2006 h3 @ 192K no CEL, but ABS and Stab lights on, pulled fuse stab#2 on fuse box, so this freaking truck wont break by itself (ordered sensor already)
tire Duratrac 33" aired @ 40PSI
Radiator replaced 3months ago and was tol they replace my thermostat as well.

may your knowledge put me into right directions what to replace like O2 sensor maybe...or anything else
