Use existing front tow hooks to hook to “Blue Ox” or similar systems
Finally got the D ring tow points on.
Didn’t have to take the bumper off. Yes, I’m kinda lazy but I just put penetrating fluid on, tapped on the one little screw in the center of the plate a few times to let the fluid in and the screw came right out. No idea what it was there for with two monster bolts on each side of it.
replacement took less than 15 minutes.
the D rings are the exact same height as the hitch on my RV. Glad I didn’t need a hitch height adapter.
i can post pics if anyone ever needs them.
now on to the lights and braking system (now required in most states)

I know its late but yes, if i recall correctly you need to hold the 4HI and 4LO button together for a few seconds while the transmission is in neutral in order for the tcase to switch to neutral (you will hear it disengage and if you put the trans in D/R the truck will not transfer any power from the engine, make sure your truck is on a level ground or the hand brake is engaged otherwise the truck will roll around)
I have the plug adapter up front but I have not done the breaking system, yet, not required here do to the weight of H3. I have towed many miles without one so far with no worries, can’t even tell it is back there. I am going to get one soon though.
