Default Use existing front tow hooks to hook to “Blue Ox” or similar systems

PictureHas anyone tried the Inexpensive ($100) Demco brackets? They are two approx 5inch square blocks that connect to existing front tow hook points.

Other systems (400) are like a rear hitch bar; that mount to both sides of the frame.

Thanks

Demco

Whats the purpose of this? To tow the H3?
if so, keep in mind you need to set the T-case (not the transmission) into neutral before towing it as to not risk damaging the transmission.

The D Ring attachment points ARE the frame. As you can see below the "horns" the D rings mounts to are part of the H3/H3T frame end.
Not sure I've ever seen any other way of flat towing an H3.

I'm always leary of the metal plates at the end of the horns where the d ring bolt to. I've looked there and the welds are poop and the metal pretty thin.

I tow my 3 behind my motorhome, bar mounts to frame, not tow hook part. I will get a pic for you.

did you pay approx 400 dollars for the cross-member type mount that mounts on both sides? Is it supposed to provide more strength or was it simply made for the other vehicle that shared this frame but didn’t have the hummer tow hoooks?

AMRG; You mean using the button on the dash with the big “N” I assume. This was my understanding before I bought it.

Bar was specific to the 3, don’t recall the cost but don’t think it was $400

Super easy to tow, it actually shows you the 2 buttons on dash to get into N. Then put tranny in P and off you go, of course make sure the 3 is hooked up before performing these actions
