Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I truly don't think it's the air intake, further research suggests it's definitely servo squeal from the throttle body. My question still stands, is it worth getting a new ECM or is this something that can be "retrained" out?

Took it to a mechanic, they cleared the throttle body error codes and ran a recalibration program on it.
Still makes the sound.
I am at a loss. I think before I go forward with replacing the whole ECU and wiring system I'm going to look into finding a place to test drive another 2007 H3 to see if this just "a thing" that they sound like. If that's the case, I'm going to sell it, preferably to someone over 50 who can't hear the sound at all. I cannot take it anymore.

I can assure you I've tried two separate OEM throttle bodies before the hitachi one, the noise was the same, which is why I thought a different brand might change things, but it did not.
