Has anyone put a throttle body spacer on the I-5 model H3s. I put some new wheels and tires on my rig and now the extra weight is hurting its power. It is constantly shifting doing 80 on the interstate tring to keep up to speed on cruise control. I plan on the cai already but am curious on the spacer.

 

Every thing I have read says the spacer does nothing. Go with a CAI and PCM Upgrade.

 

Throttle Body Spacer = snake oil... save your money and do what Vader said.

 

I put a throttle body spacer on my Honda Accord coupe a few years ago and it squeeled like a pig at WOT. I bought the Helix Power Tower model and it was the worst high pitch sound you want to hear from your motor. I returned mine after the first ride...

 

I'd suggest a chrome spacer for the infinity. TB spacers are excellent paper weights.

 

In theory the spacer is supposed to act like ram air effect like Chrysler used on their high performance engines. They had a ram tube to each cylinder and multiple carbs. But this simple spacer just doesn't get it done.
