You changed the fluid and filter. Are you sure you bought the correct filer? The H3/H3T and Colorado/Canyon 4X4s use a dedicated filter, different from all the other filters for L460E Trans equipped vehicles. If you put the wrong filter in, it will get dislodges and not properly pick up fluid from the pan. Has to have the corner cut out like below.

I use 93 like I always did since I got the car. Today on the way home I got check engine light. When I went to check it I got p0717 and p0716. It’s trans speed sensor code. What’s weird is I got the speed sensor replaced about a year and half ago cus it was shortened so I am not sure why the code came back. The car drives fine and shift fine. The only thing different is that rpm bounce.

Any other suggestions? And that code that I mentioned came and went away on its own. The car runs and shift fine only that rpm bounce happen from time to time. Why the code would show up?

Good, now check/inspect the connector/wiring to the transmission:
1. At the plug to the transmission, check for 12 volts on pin E Pink wire.
2. Ground on the pin V Light Blue.
3. Verify pin K Brown/White wire is not open or shorted back to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Blue connector pin 23.
4. If all the above is OK with everything plugged in, backprobe the Brown/White and check for square wave signal with the engine running.
5. If no signal is present, then replace the input speed sensor.
To replace the input speed sensor requires removal of the transmission and then removal of the front pump from the transmission assembly
