quick disconnect.. but wont reconnect! (Heater hose issues)

For anyone still following this, I replaced the heater core hose, did a few pressure tests, filled it up with coolant, took it out for a drive and it did perfect! Also did thermostat and radiator cap. I don’t trust it 100% yet but I’ll slowly take it out for longer drives. Thank all of you for all the help. I really appreciate it!
