Yes Indeed GrampaEJ, 38psi! No more TPMS warning, and tire wear the same, from edge to edge.

No, your problem was the switch. Glad you found it and fixed it! My issue was a bit more complicated.

A risk I'm willing to take in exchange for a vehicle that starts every time I turn the key.

Not a topic of discussion I bring up in public but now that you mention it I will be extra careful.

I have over 30 experience years doing troubleshooting / repair to electrical equipment. Granted it has not been working on cars but the same principles apply. A BCM is nothing but a specialized PLC with inputs and outputs. The erratic behavior described by the OP could be voltage fluctuations caused by the battery, the battery terminals, water intrusion, a harness grounding out, a loose plug, a bad voltage regulator, or a dozen other things. All you can do is eliminate one problems at a time until you find the root cause.

I am having the same problem, may I ask your help? I want to bypass the passlock system and want your help in doing so. I have my car in a third world country, no insurance to worry about. I truly appreciate your help.

It might have been overkill but so far I have had zero more issues. It has only been a couple of weeks since the latest repairs but so far so good.

I hope you get your issues sorted out.

Try getting a new computer... about 150 dollars and it will have to be programmed or learned. I was starting to have weird problems and that fixed it.

Default How I fixed the passlock system on my 2007 H3

I recently took the passlock switch out (located to the left of the steering column) and examined it, everything looked good and clean to my surprise. I sprayed the male/female interface part with wd40 just to see if it was maybe getting stuck and put it back together. I did that about 3 months ago and I haven't had an issue since, so I'm considering it fixed. I used to have that problem at least a couple times per month so it can't be a coincidence.
