Default 2007 h3x Ign 1 fuse #33 blowing

So I was leaving work when my h3 just turned off while in drive. I tried to restart but although all power was on I got no crank. Check the fuses and found #33 ignition 1 fuse blown. Replaced fuse and tried to crank. No crank and fuse had blown again. Never had this issue before so I pulled the TB to check the ignition coil wires which looked fine. I disconnected the plugs from the coil packs and retested. Fuse blew again. I ended up having it towed to my house and spent all of yesterday searching this forum and tried finding some help with no avail. I searched the internet with no help. Based on the wiring diagrams, I see that fuse #33 is for the pnp switch, clutch start switch and the ignition coils. Since it is an automatic I assume the start clutch would not be involved since I dont have a manual drive. I have not yet checked the pnp switch but the coil wiring looks fine. Has anyone else experienced this before and could anyone direct me on what I might check before I have it towed to a mechanic? I really like my h3, but if it turns off on it's own while driving, makes me concerned for safety reasons. Thanks guys for any help on this issue. I am going to continue looking into the pnp wiring in the interm and will report back if I have any luck finding the culprit for other members.

Wiring to coils is a common issue.
This will help you find the shorted wire:

Figured it out. After taking all of the wires out and looking everywhere it ended up being the main wires running from fuse block. Here are some pics.

Betcha that felt good! Just tracking that down probably felt so awesome that it made your weekend lol...
I've had similar things with cars, appliances what not and it is so cool to find the culprit. Some how gratifying.

Cool

When I installed my grill mounted off road lights I had to remove the fuse box to run wiring. It gets pretty busy underneath there. Had to be very careful when replacing it not to pinch things.
