so I have the buttom seal the big rubber mat that tuck in under the skid plate but I don’t have the top seal , can you tell me what part number is the top seal?

yes that part number everyone have it out of stock. So I’ll have to do the same way you did, what weather strip did you buy from Home Depot ? And do you just shove it between the ac condenser and the radiator ?

I jus bought a weather strip and I shoved it there jusg like the pic you sent me
I just got the stuff from Home Depot. Took the middle part that holds the radiator off and shoved the weather stripping between the condenser and radiator. Then placed the middle part back. Seems to work. Did it work for you?

the only middle part is that tiny piece that goes into the radiator and bolt into the frame and yes I took it off and shoved the weather strip and put it back but didn’t notice different in temperature , I read a post about relocating the thermostats to the top and changing it to open at 160 help someone said they got really good results doing that so I am gonna give this a try this weekend and post pics and stuff

I removed my thermostat all together and it didn't make much of a difference. Just ordered original radiator, I think mine is junk off eBay.
Also when doing the t-stat on top it's not as straight forward. On 2007+ models there's not much room between the water outlet housing and radiator inlet. I had to have my housing machined down to make room. Cost $60 at a local machine shop. 2006 3.5l models housing is a little different and you might be able to get away with just cutting the darn thing, but I wouldn't recommend as you won't have any lip for the hose to grab.

I didn't notice any difference in temp with this mod besides temp going way up to 220F on a cold engine before it opens and brings temps down to 190F.. don't like that very much. Just make sure you install everything properly and place jiggle valve at the 12 o-clock position to allow air bleed. It helps to fill coolant into the engine via upper hose first. But I had no issue burping the system with just the jiggle valve.

Mod gone wrong! The engine needs to be at a certain temperature to operate as efficiently as possible, this is between 195°-205°. The method of controlling this temperature is the thermostat.

yes that’s the mod that I saw but the thermostats that come with the kit is 180 degrees. I ordered one that is 160 degrees this way with this heat in south Florida it should be fine but I have both of them so I will test it out . Also they mentioned that very important to make sure that the thermostat

I also moved the thermostat to the top. But I installed it with a diameter of 64mm. With big hole. The system is now working perfectly! Arrow just below the middle (190F)
