Default Overheat?

2007 hummer h3 here in Florida today is 100 degrees. Ac is on high . Temperature showing 3/4 is that normal ? Should I worry that it goes to that level?

That is not overheating. That's fairly normal. Mine gets up there during hot muggy late summer days. Of course just briefly.

usually it’s where this mark is but when it’s really hot outside and humid and I have the ac cranked up I get to that level but no more than that . It’s at the last line of the symbol I guess if would compare? Is that bad ?

What temperature are you actually getting? Also if you search the forum, there has been tons of threads about this. I am new to this truck, mine also gets to 3/4 on the dash, but the actual temp is 215F
