does the front cover have to be removed to install that cus I knew there is a gasket that goes into the timing cove and there is one that actually goes into the crankshaft pully they both new and the most newest one is the one

I put this one https://www.partsgeek.com/kgc6qwx-hu...wqjHAetMk_IxLy

did you notice if the nose of the crankshaft has a bit of a groove in it where the seal rides? if so the groove is not supposed to be there and you might need a special seal to repair that. i guess its a bit tighter on the crank.

Problem fixed thanks for hummerz and everyone who helped out ! The problem was the damn front main crank seal. When I took off the pully I think for some reason it wasn’t pushed all the way in I don’t know how that happened but anyway I took it off and installed a brand new one , made sure it’s all in and put a new washer into the pully and installed everything. Went on a little drive and came back and checked with light and UV light since I have a dye In the oil and there was none and the front cover is dry. I am gonna highway test it tomorrow but I think she is finally good to go
