My 2006 H3 hiccups occasionally on start. I turn the key, the motor turns, hiccups and dies. Try again once ot twice more and it starts. Once running, there are no issues.

I should add that alternator, starter and battery are new (replaced due to unrelated issues).

Any suggestion what I should be looking at?

Clean the Throttle Body, MAF and check hose under Resonator at rear of engine (i.e. under black box looking thing) for dry rot.
