Light bar in grill
timpossible - I purchased a basic wiring harness and rigged it to the battery. Also purchased a Hummer OE exterior light switch for the dash, but it didn't work so I used the cheap-*** switch that came with the harness, mounted it to the right of the steering wheel. I'll take some pics.
If anyone is interested in using the OEM switch with the Amazon wire harness, please use the following pin orientation.
OEM Switch Pin A = Black wire from Amazon harness - Ground
OEM Switch Pin B = Blue wire from Amazon harness - Relay pin 85
OEM Switch Pin C = White wire from Amazon harness - +12

You have to drop the front bumper and grill. There is an optional off road light kit that can go in the grill and if you can locate one there are detailed instructions that go along with it. I installed it on my H3 about 2 years ago but I can't seem to find the instructions.

Thanks for your reply. I will hunt around for info on removing the bumper. I already have the upper grill off but was hoping to be able to install the light without dropping the bumper.
I don't remember it being too hard. Like 4 screws, a bunch of clips. I had to take off my chrome brush guard and tow rings first. There really isn't much holding it on. The grill piece you are taking about clips inside of it. I believe the upper grill stays on. It does take two people to pull it off.
