if i remember in that video the issue wound up being a bad 5v reference wire that was grounding to the engine.

 

Turned out to be a corroded relay. I'm going to pull them and check for that. others might be also. Something to do anyway. Thanks.

 

Zero corrosion in any of the relays are fuses. Mayday, Mayday!

This thread is over 3 months and now 225 posts deep, filled with information.

 

The answer to that is nothing. I guess some folks are a lot better at this than me. I do appreciate all the help. Now I need one more question answered . How to you unplug the harness to the gas pedal? it's not like the other ones. I've tried several times, I don't wish to brake it. Show me, tell me how and I promise to never post about limp mode again.

I've seen those videos. Mine is not like either one of those. There is a little white connecter at the top. Can't get that off. Don't see any small tab to pull or press. The pedal is off and I can look at the top of the plug. Still no joy.
