I've gotten 15mpg with my Alpha for the past 7 years, consistently, regardless of city or highway. 18mpg??? No way!

Results of mpg test. Filled up at station, 2 miles to interstate on divided highway 50mph, made both stop lights. Interstate is flat as a pancake. Nice sunny day, no wind at all. On return trip stopped at both lights. Filled up again. Did math. 18.3 mpg. So there you go. Not going to take H3 on any road trips. Just curious about mpg. So for me it's 14 local, 18 highway.

More like 18 on the highway that day under those conditions as opposed to always 18 on the highway. Whenever I buck a headwind, MPG goes out the window.

I can see 17+ when on the highway, but I hardly ever am on the highway. I am going to jump on I94 later today for all of about 5 miles after I fuel up at my favorite Marathon.

Head winds, side winds, up hill ,all cut down mpg. Just curious. Why I did the test. Now to my next problem. I installed 4 new 02 sensors. Took it to Auto Zone for a scan with their OB 2 scan tool . I'll try to put here what showed up.
Code P013A
Secondary DTCs
P13C H02S slow response rich to lean bank 2 sensor2
P13C H02S Slow Response Rich to lean bank2 seasor2
P2273 H02S Signal Stuck Rich Bank 2 sensor 2
No Code
All 4 were new sensors. Some where I saw a post that when new 02 sensors are installed they must be set with a scan tool ? Please advise and what to do about this.

Utilize/recommend that pump you used for refill.

These codes popped up after you replaced the O2's? Check connector/contacts/wiring to b2s2.
If this code was there previous to o2 replacement, also check bank 2 for an exhaust leak.

All these codes were there before I replaced them. That's the reason I replaced them. I don't have a scan tool to erase them. On another though ,dose this mean my OB 2 port is actually talking to the CPU ? Finally!

Nice dawg! Next item. I removed the instrument panel to get at the annoying tire light. It's apart on bench, back panel off. How do you get to the light bulbs ? How do you get the panels apart? I took it over to the GM dealer, ( mechanics are on strike setting under shade tents ) Ask them how? They really don't think they can be separated, I disagree, it went together, should come apart. They said the bulbs were soldered to the board. What am I going to screw up if I pry them apart? Dose the needles come off and then pry it apart? Are put back together and live with light.
