Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
I've watched the videos on the H2 light bulbs. I still content they are not the same. Not even close. You can twist the H2 bulbs out. You cannot do that on the H3 bulbs. But I digest. I have the H3 tire light bulb beside my pillow, with alighted magnifier, so can see when I go to bathroom at night 1 or 2 times, depending on amount of adult beverage I consume. . This will be continuing, sometime in morning after coffee. Stay tuned.
No. Not even close. I took a picture of the H3 light. Next to a dime and a tooth pick for caparison. I've tried to post here but can't get it to load. Going to run some errands, will try later. I use to do pretty good with posting with windows 7. Not to good here on 10.
Diameter of a dime is 18mm(17.91mm to be exact). Quality toothpicks are around 2mm diameter on center.
Hummer instrument cluster panel bulbs are 3-5mm+/- diameter. You can verify this with a vernier caliper.
Yes they are 3mm. I have calipers. They plug in between to clips, horizonal . My check engine bulb was missing. I'll leave both out for a while. Contacted the TPMS seller and did all he suggested. DIC comes back on after about 10 miles. One push of stem and gone until next start. I'll live with it.
Well looks like this thread has reached it's end. Lot's of good info in here for future use. So today I will have a small burial ceremony, beside the H3, hands on hood. eyes toward the sky. Amen.
Never much cared for the Col's chicken. Much better chicken out there. I just got the nick name some years ago, as I have a beard something like his. The pic is funny. However, I am a Col..
