OMG! You just found the problem! The root cause of all parts that fail or disintegrate.

Post a picture of the old resistor.
After the fact, do you remember a burning smell? The oem resistor was the source on mine, causing high resistance in the wiring/connections, I caught it immediately and only 1 burnt connector. Nice work.

Did the install today. It worked.
If you order the kit from Amazon put your splices in as you snip. There's one of the wire color on the plug harness that doesn't match exactly.
Thanks again.

Sadly the daughter is bummed by everything going wrong with it.
I should have know better.
I need to replace 1 tire, get the AC control back lights working again, Dremel out and screw in seat heater cover panel, find a battery strap and replace a tail light.
Might get the headliner replaced too.

I'll post it up on here first.
I'll be back soon after, I want a "unicorn" H3T Alpha.

Been there done that. I bought my 2007 H# for $7000 after is sat in a man's driveway for some time collecting dust and mold.. I brought it home, bathed it and spent $4000 more to replace the entire brake system and rotors and flush the lines, new polished Baja wheels, 2" wheel spacers, and and tires, Then had the AC lines flushed and new dryer, compressor replaced, as well as the radiator lined from the firewall to the engine and radiator. Also had to replace a full set of door actuators for the blower compartment behind the radio, and all window wipers along with misc. things. I still have an engine light that comes and goes from time to time and a tire warning that comes and goes. I really need to unplug my ECU some day and spray and clean all contacts and grease the plugs before reassembly to see if that is the cause. Just finished doing all that with it's new Pioneer stereo that popped when the key was off and now it jams nicely with key on or off. Bugs are so fun to chase IF you squash them on first attempt. The random engine light and tire warnings don't scare me. BUT, I do wonder if my new set of tires programmed themselves to the vehicle because I never did. As a tip for you all with faded plastics, I bought this bottle of clear syrupy liquid called 'TRIM SERUM' and have since transformed all of my ugly whitish faded external plastic panels back to deep greyish black again!! Love the stuff and would never use anything else due to ease of application and durability! Most last months while this stuff lasts years! I love my hummer and will drive it till it drops. Good luck to ya..
