Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Good morning all, I have been reading through a slew of posts on the H3 blower issues/repairs and am still “seeking” a resolution for repairing ours…..
So far I have replaced everything, motor, resistor, h/S relay and control panel/module. Harness is NOT burnt or melted…. Not even scorched! And still no blower…. Harness ohm’d out fine. I am at my wits end (and tired of listening to “U know who” bitch about it
Does anyone know where the grounds are located and/or have a wiring diagram? At this point I am frustrated but have to believe I am just missing something small/stupid.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Step 1: STOP THROWING PARTS AT IT! Step 2: KOEO rotate the fan speed control(center) clockwise.
Step 3: Open hood and locate the UHFB and remove cover.
Step 4: Pull #59 & inspect/swap/replace
Step 5: Pull #82 & inspect/swap/replace
Step 6: Swap #88/#87
Step 7: Swap #76/#75
While performing above steps with KOEO, observe any contact spark and listen for any blower motor humming sound.
Thank you for the great information, I have checked all the fuses but hey even the best of us overlook something small once and a while. Swapping the relays I haven’t tried.
For the record, I have full power (BAT V) at the control module, the mode
doors operate as commanded R/S switch and I can hear the blend door moving as I cycle the temp switch.
Fan speed switch was/is blinking and I even went through the reset/relearn process 3 x’s
Also, while my intent was not to keep reloading the Ole Parts Cannon, keep in mind I spent less time in diagnosis mode and all the while it was usually 10 deg F or less outside as I pecked away at the issue for most the Winter months
Not and excuse for poor problem solving but the reality nonetheless
My '07 ONLY needed attention on the module( fix posted above) ALL SPEEDS WORK! I NEVER replaced any other HVAC systems components. ALL OEM!...Correction: {I replaced the radiator 10yrs ago}. To this day, I still get AC/HEAT VENT TEMPS 35°F-210°F---HVAC CONTROL + ALL OEM BLEND DOOR ACTUATORS ALSO WORKING PERFECTLY. After looking at many posts over the years, I own a Unicorn!
So I got everything re-assembled and the for hell of it I checked for V at the blower connector(2-wire Brown is BAT voltage and the Orange is ground controlled by the resistor/relay)
nadda… nothing. Zilch
Soooooo.. I went to UHFB as hummerz had suggested and checked all fuses and swapped relays around… again big ole Zero
So now I start scratching my head and poking around. I have seen all the posts about burnt/overheated connections at resistor etc but was not experiencing that on my ‘06
Now for the big news…. What I did find was there is a white 6-wire connector where the blower/relay/resistor harness meet the harness from the BCM… was a tad difficult to get apart and as suspected 2 melted terminals….
