Help! 35s rubbing against fender flares
Stick as close to the 16x7.5" OEM wheel specs as you can. 16x8 with 4.5" backspace or greater (4.75 or 5" would be better)
If you bought those from a tire shop they should have told you they wouldn't fit properly, they are too wide and the offset is way off. I'm not seeing how it was the trucks fault or GM's since it was fine until you bought the wrong wheels. There area about a million online calculators for wheel offset, helps to educate yourself then go shopping not the other way around, also alot cheaper usually.
I run my stock 16" with 315/75/16 but lifted my rig 2.5" front and 1.5 rear. Never had rubbing even stock hight. Since 2 years, took off my Sway bar, more flex off road in font and no rubbing at all.
