Default CD PLAYER - keeps spitting cds out

Hi I have a hummer h3 2008. It keeps spitting the cds out and goes to radio. It says “checling CD” and then spits it out and doesn’t play. Any ide why? Thank you!

Are they 'home burned' CD's or store bought?

Hi, it’s both. Just 3 days ago all cds - home burned and bought ones were working absolutely fine. Suddenly it’s spitting them all out.

Maybe it's your choice of music?

Would be useful to know which radio you are talking about??????

I'll make it easy...

Do you have the base radio; the 6 disc changer; or, the Nav?

I know the 6 disc changers can be fussy if they get dusty or some foreign crud inside. Might try one of those electronics blower cans to see if that helps.

I also recall a couple threads on this topic, give a search a try.

Cd's are garbage. Get yourself an 8-track player.
