Default 35's a/m wheels+ flares

ok so I've read through a bunch of threads on 35's, leveling lift etc and have a few questions still.
most I've seen running 35's are using stock wheels.
I'm looking at american racing mojaves with 4.5" back spacing
stock is 4.75 I believe?
also looking at bushwacker flares
does anyone have a combo like this? does it rub?
thanks for the input

Backspacing on stock H3 wheels is around 5.71. The wheel you are considering as well as most other aftermarket wheels will result in your tires sticking further out from under the fender flares. Although this provides a "tough look and stance," many complain that the front tires end up throwing road debris which scars the lower sides of their rigs. I can't comment on bushwhacker flares.

Bushwhacker last I checked, only has their "OE" line for H3s... its a small lip like flare that IMO does absolutely nothing and looks out of place on a Hummer, just my .02

There are other companies out there that make fender flares for Hummers however I have heard alot of negatives with them and running 35s...

I think the OE style flares look pretty good. Saw them on a Championship sitting on the Hummer lot. Why don't you like them?

Ok so I do have another question about 35's..
how much more chance is there of breaking stuff when wheeling with them?
my h3 is an 08 manual adventure
Is there anything that I should do or look at to prevent future problems?
I know they rub which is why I want different wheels with a little smaller offset. but the steering rack seperation thing kinda freaks me out.

Really not that much... There's gonna be animcrease in the weight compared to your 285s but no more than the guys that run 18s or bigger... The plus side is the ground clearance that will get the more expensive parts away from the harmful stuff so if anything I would say it's cheaper to wheel with 35s...
