Yes and that's what I'm saying, this problem started randomly and we haven't figured out a reason yet so can the head gasket just leak and cause the temperatures to rise out of the blue?

I moved the thermostat to the top and put it from Toyota. Everything is fine. Just changed the radiator and also put the radiator cap from Toyota. Haven't had any problems for several years now. But tomorrow I want to start work on installing an additional radiator. I think that there is not enough coolant for such an engine.

Of course there may be a problem due to the gasket. Also check the radiator cap.

what exactly was the problem you were facing earlier? Temp at 3/4 or proper heatups?

That's what I'm asking, how can the gasket go bad randomly without ever heating up before this problem began? And also, i never lost and still dont lose any coolant

Under 220° not likely, @225° thermostat should be wide open. Coolant temp above 225° is the breaking point. This extreme heat along with the temperature variances between the engine block and head gasket can stress the gasket to the point of rupture.

It only takes 1 overheat! Just remove the thermostat & recheck.
