I'm not electrically inclined. AT ALL. 😂
Definitely "butchered", seen it many times over the years, causing other issues. I always charge time involved to diagnose, tapped wires cost the customer more $$$. Find the oe green & black, connect to a horn and test.

True. Guess I'll just live with it at this point, seems like way too much work. Works in every situation but just not the chirp like WHY ugh

Hook a multi-meter up to the horn wires, press your RKE and see if you get a reading. It will be a short, quick jolt so keep an eye on the meter. At least that should let you know if you're getting current when you arm/disarm.

Quick question. My horn says 12V, 5A and 490Hz. Is there a way to know what ya'lls horn runs at? Coz maybe the Amp draw is too much for a 'chirp' signal as mentioned above?
