Praise be to God, I got it rebuilt. I had to delve into the eBay world to get 1 used part (bumper cover) and aftermarket grille. All the other parts are from GM (a miracle they were available!). I net $1k from the insurance check; it could have been a good bit more if the body shop estimate was even close to correct. Now I know how to build the front end of an H3, and I'm taking customers

I did have a casualty during the rebuild. My hood release cable sheath end got pulled apart. I was able to crimp in the loose piece and so far it is working. Any ideas on a better repair (w/o replacing)?

Anyone need the blinker light housing or the headlamp harness? These parts are still good from the originals.
