When you pressure test the coolant system simply use the proper adapter to eliminate the overflow port as shown in the video I posted above!

That explains your thread post:

"overheating like 220+. and when I drive on it, the coolant in the radiator is low but the reservoir still full"

Take your time to properly repair leak & seal the coolant system preventing overheating & bubbling in the overflow.

Starts as a pin hole, ends up as a gusher if ignored.......... that is unless it cracked, they just leak like crazy from the start.

Really? How do you get a new one? Is the warranty pro-rated?

i bought an oem radiator couple years ago from rockauto.com

the oem have a life time warranty so you go back and put a claim and you pay for a new one but once you send the old damaged one back . I get my money back . Just keep the receipt and order number and such. Alot of their parts have lifetime and some are few years.

luckily the radiator oem is lifetime

that’s why i buy my parts from them
because its way cheaper than dealers and retails like autozone and such so as long as your okay waiting couple days to arrive the you should be good

only different is shipping but that’s no more than like 30 bucks with their label so it’s not bad at all

How?>>>>Contact the manufacturer! My Silla radiator came with a lifetime warranty when I replaced back in 2012 for which I still have the original receipt in my {{{H3 file box}}} however the radiator is still NOT leaking therefore I can't file a warranty claim.

The General Motors (GM) Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty offers a lifetime replacement of specific GM Genuine or ACDelco parts for the original purchaser, as long as they own the vehicle on which the part was installed. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for parts like fuel pumps, radiators, and wheel hub bearings. While the parts are warranted for life, labor for these replacements is generally limited to the first 24 months of ownership, and the warranty does not cover parts with normal wear and tear or issues caused by improper installation!
