Hummer H3 For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.

Bought my first Hummer and it’s unfortunately throwing a few codes. Need some advice

Never came across a bad one of those yet, and being able to wiggle it a bit at the Intake Manifold is OK. If it was an issue, it would be a different code.

The other one under the Resonator Box to the top of the Right side Valve Cover often rot out and crack (like you described) and eventually leak. Any 1/2" Emission Hose cut to length can replace that one.

Easy stuff first: clean the Gas Cap Gasket and filler tube mating surface.

Then replace the OEM Battery Terminal Connectors (if not done already) with a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand.
Hey Doc, I replaced the terminal connectors with the below stingers (SPT53501). I cannot for the life of me get the connector to be flush with the battery on the positive terminal (which is slightly thicker than the negative). I can get it on if I take the tightening screw out but it’s then too small of a screw to fit back in….did I buy the wrong ones? Or perhaps the battery I bought has slightly larger terminals.

You need to removed the terminal adapter ring inside the Postive(+)terminal.

Not your fault. Stinger Terminals in a set, includes 53501 negative (-) and 53502 positive(+)
