Default Blower motor issue

My blower motor continues to run with the engine off. I replaced the blower motor resistor but the problems persist. I thought about possibly replacing the blower motor relay but can't find the relay anywhere, i checked the fuse boxes and don't see one.

This is a very common problem, not sure what year you have, but for a 2005's there isn't a blower motor relay, pretty sure yours will be the same.

The Blower Motor Control Processor (commonly called a "Resistor") has a single Blower Motor Speed Control input and two outputs to the blower motor, thats all (other than GND and VBATT)

So either the pulse-width-modulated input is somehow running flat-out (unlikely) or your replacement module is also faulty, where did you get it from?

Replacement controllers are hard to find, there's actually a repair service on ebay but you can do it yourself usually just a case of replacing the power MOSFET (IRFBA1405PPbF) search on ebay or RS Components.

Close to this very thread is this one which goes into more detail.

Keep us posted.
