B0790 After Replacing Wheel Sensor
I recently did a lot of work to my "new" 2006 H3. Both wheel bearings were bad, so I first replaced the passenger side front bearing. The bearing is made by Detroit Axle and comes with a new sensor. I'm pretty sure this is when my "Service 4WD" message popped up and my scanner shows code B0790. I also went on to replace the driver bearing and sensor, and also the factory radio with an Alpine head unit.
My memory is a little hazy, but I'm pretty sure the code set after I replaced the passenger wheel bearing and sensor. Has anyone heard of this happening? I also read that the transfer case switch can by contaminated and I had the radio panel off the dash, so I'm not ruling that out either.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
