Make sure you had the HVAC recall done.

What Doc said and make sure you have a belt on the AC compressor first.

What was the HVAC recall for? I have a 09 and they only recall that shows up was for the front loovers potentially coming loose.

Thanks. I searched on recalls.gm.com and found out mine was replaced on Feb 2016.

Only this and the hood louvers were the only two recalls on this vehicle, which is pretty impressive.
