Default 07 L5 3.7 engine installed in a 09 hummer h3 3.7 09

I put the 07 3.7 engine in my 09 h3, now it don't start right, and runs rough down the Hyway. I know that the actuator is different between the 07, and the 09 engine. I rebuilt the 07 engine, then installed it in my 09 h3. I got a new position actuator sensor, and wired the 07 plug on my 09. Didn't make any difference. Will have get the computer reprogramEd? Thank you for any help!

you need a good scan tool or a GM tech2 scan tool... it would be in one of the option menus

07s and 09s use different PCMs, your 09 PCM is not programmed to properly run the 07. I have heard many will run, but not like they are supposed to. You need some programming.

Xs 2 what atvspeed4 said.

any suggestions where to get the pcm reprogram? When I rebuilt the 07 engine, the only difference was exhaust acuator, I didn't find any difference on the block, I should rebuilt 09 head, and put it on the block. I don't know about the cams..

The '07 uses a different CKP vs the '09, yet both are 58x.
