Default 07 H3 Ignition Switch Replacement Video

Looking for a video that shows how to replace the entire ignition switch. I need to remove the key lock cylinder, the cylinder housing and the switch and replace it with a new one. Can't seem to figure out how to get the old one out. Thank you for your time.

The ignition switch is mounted to the housing for the lock cylinder. Housing requires steering wheel removal. Make sure to disconnect battery, to prevent srs deployment.

I pretty much assumed that would be the case, which is why I was hoping to find a video of the procedure. I'll give it a shot without it and see how it goes - perhaps I'll make one while I'm at it.
Thank you for the info and srs reminder.

You got your chain pulled......

The switch is under $45 and takes about 10 minutes to change.... a two screw and do.
