Default Ignition Problems

I have a 2007 Hummer H3 which has what appears to be a problem with the ignition. When I take the key out of the ignition most times the electrical will stay on (radio, wipers etc... work) and the car is dinging. If I put the key back in and jiggle it a little then it usually shuts off. This of course is draining the battery. Some times everything seems to be fine but then the horn will randomly start going off. If I use the remote and unlock/lock the doors the horn will stop but then the electrical is on (the radio is on). How would I fix this? Do I need to replace the ignition lock housing (ACDelco D1462G) and if I replace it do I need to have the car rekeyed? Is there a video or writeup for replacing it?

Swap relay #88(rap) with relay #87(hvac) recheck operation.

Me thinks you need a new ignition switch. The key just turns the switch, not part of it. Give that a search here, easy DIY job.

When you turn ignition on with the door closed, and turn to off position, rap will take over until you open the door. When you take the key out of the ignition with door closed, the interior lights will come on.
There is a black pin inside the ignition lock housing that depresses the push button contact on the ignition switch when the key is in the lock cylinder. Check the pin, and try cleaning the ignition switch with electronic contact cleaner.

Someone have a link for this easy DIY job? I can't find one anywhere in here or on the net.

That guy is just replacing the passlock sensor which doesn't help me as that's that my problem. He even says he doesn't want to mess with the rest because it looks too complicated.

Where is your problem? Not, at the ignition switch, that guy replaced?

Here's a pic of the ignition case, no magical fairies inside:
