Where do I put my switch?
#3
In this thread I detailed how to wire in a factory fog light button from a Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade. https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...-lights-39090/
The rear wiper/fog light buttons are cheap on eBay but it does take some work to do it this way. You need the button with a cut pigtail, plus a latching relay module from Amazon (since the factory button is momentary). Gives the cleanest and nicest appearance.
Next best option is to get a smaller switch instead of that larger Carling clone switch, drill/cut a hole for it and put it in the same place a factory switch goes in the blank area below the rear wiper switch. That type switch you have is too large to fit well in the spot where a factory button would be.
