I am new to the hummer world, I'll be picking up my 2008 SUT on Sunday and I'm pretty excited.

I read in a post where citiboy used an GM Arcadia switch to solve his fog light switch dilemma.

My question is how did he solve the windshield washer switch since it is not included with the GM Arcadia switch.

hey reeves, my truck never had the option for the heated windshield washer but, i installed one from Alphatherm that doesn't need a switch to activate (AlphaTherm Heated Wash AT-37GM is direct replacement for ALL factory installed General Motors “GM” heated washer fluid modules). check the heated windshield washer system if it is still working, gm did a recall on it (GM Will Deactivate Heated Washer Fluid Systems). if not, then you can do the same mod like i've done.

if you still want to retain the oem headlight switch then, this is the other alternatives for the accessory light switch. scroll down to post #26 for pictures. you have to relocate the onstar and sunroof switch though.

Absolutely LOVE my truck, picked it up today. Throughly impressed with the smooth ride, comparable to my Yukon.

Can you recommend a leveling kit where the smooth ride will not be sacrificed (if possible)

Or should I leave as is?

I purchased the Arcadia switch as recommended, however the technician is having difficulty making it work. As i understand it, since the dealer de-activated the water bottle heater there isn't a way to bypass the Control Unit and isolate the Fog switch to act as desired.

Can you tell me how you overcame this so i can instruct the technician?
