My question is on my 2006 H2, there are 2 circular fog lights that I cannot seem to locate an on switch for. They go on when the doors are locked or unlocked by the FOB but they do not turn on otherwise. I see no switch to turn them on. Any suggestions on where I might locate the switch to turn on would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

Hey. I think these are the drl's and they come on from the fob as you suggested but they turn off when the headlights are on. I think they're supposed to be driving lights and run during the day when not in park. Have you caught a glimpse of the truck moving with them on? The sensor that turns the headlight on turns them off. The only other option could be a switch underneath the headlight panel on the left of the wheel. I have a small switch under there where the previous owner wired the DRLs separately.

 

There is a mod you can search and find that involves running a jumper wire from your headlight to drl relays in the fuse block under the hood so they come on together.

 

As mentioned those are your daytime driving lights. They are on during the day when in drive and off when the headlights are on.

I would definitely do the diode mod mentioned above. This keeps the DRL's on all the time even with the headlights. Double check and triple check when installing the diode to make sure it is oriented in the right direction.
