So I am looking at replacing the running lights and find there are three parts you can replace. The bulb itself sells for 4 bucks.

This isn't a sealed unit from the factory you pop in?

I haven't had time to take it out or even look at it other than diagrams on the computer.
Has anyone replaced one and cheaply?

Looks like a whole bulb is around 100 bucks from gm. CRAZY.

 

It's a small insert bulb like a tail light. Cheap fix. GM sells it 10.99 but you can buy it half price everywhere else.
