Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
Hey just to circle back on this it was a C0050 code and the problem was a broken wire.
over the axle area you could tell someone had been in there just thought I would let everyone know what it was Thanks for the help
Couple things I wanted to mention on here the manual that I bought off of ebay says it is for a 2008 but it shows the Brake ECU mounted on the frame just under the driver's door but it's mounted on the side of the brake reservoir under the hood it's the Fuel ECM which is mounted where it says the brake one is at least on a 2008 and the plug looks similar but it does not have a tab that pulls out the back so it's a little different the wiring looked the same just thought I would throw that out there Thx I also discovered that someone took the running lights out put LED lights in and wired them to work with the headlights selected to bright then the switch on the panel lights up and can be selected off ith the light on bright why someone would wire this like this is beyond me .
The rear braking statem on the h2 has much in common with the 2500 safari van
At least for the early sensor with the triangular sensing... Finger? The safari van unit is identical sans the shim missing and the plug on the back being clocked 90°
It is $45 instead of $250 for the exact same part
Because h2 market versus work van market...
Like using VW or Audi parts on your lambo
You gotta be a sucker not to visually inspect the parts interchangeability
I still wish I could find a 345mm rear rotor instead of 330 without using something fancy...
Theres an aftermarket caliper place who will pair 4 pistons with a 330 OR 345 rotor front or rear and get them under 17s... But its $1500
Im trying to get 2022 front brakes, basically, on all four corners. Want the same pads all around for in the field repairs... Rotors will obviously be different but four identical calipers makes it way easier to fix on the trail... If you kill front pads the backs are always spares. If you rip a front caliper off, rotate a back up there and cap the banjo... Etcetera... H1 was entirely designed on this philosophy...
Id be okay with them over 330 rotors honestly if brackets could be fabricated
But I'd *rather* find a 345mm 8lug rear rotor for our drum parking brakes.
Im guessing these are s10 drum brake shoes under there?
This thread is going to keep getting necromanced, it comes up in google results lol...
I ended up here because I realized these things are way different than the tahoe sensor while I'm trying to take one out and its clearly seized...
We would say if the black plastic is clocking back and forth independently of the sensor body, the wires inside are probably liberated, right?
