Hummer H2For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.
ABS light and traction control light and with a few messages and a scanner was put on it and it came up the wheel speed sensor Right rear , once it sits awhile sometimes the lights and messages will go away and then when you start driving they come back I can't remember off the top of my head what the messages where one was something to do with stablink something like that I would have to start it again and see but those message are gone when the ABS and traction lights are gone and when I start driving they all come back I had a local shop put a scanner on it and it pointed to the wheel speed sensor so I thought I would srart there now it could be just dirty and need cleaned which I will try that once I get it out .
thanks does that all make sense

As abs sensors are proving hard to find it might be worth checking your existing one before pulling it out, it could be something else (BTW some shops may have test equipment)
Many are passive inductive sensors i.e. a permanent magnet with a coil of wire wrapped around them, others types are active "Hall-Effect" usually powered and have 3 wires (usually) some are 2 wire Hall-Effect.
The only reason I mention this is that you check which type is the H2 is by measuring across the sensor pins, checking the resistance (usually about 1K) and AC voltage when the wheel spins (harder to do with the rear)
These videos are very easy and informative, even I could understand them.
Pulled right rear wheel speed sensor out and checked with a meter and it is open so from watching the videos in this thread I would guess that is the issue
these are what I am having ..
