Vacuum leak code came up on the code reader. I pulled off the vac sensor on top and tried to blow through it, and suck through it, did not work. You Tube video suggested that. Without elect. Going to it, it is shut, reportedly.
Other suggestions??? Where to check?? The gas cap warning pops up a lot. I checked it and put silicone lube on the rubber seal, it still pops up. ??????

Did you try to reset the OBD?
Sometimes just detaching your battery and connecting it again will get rid of some of these warning codes.

 

rotted fuel pump can give evap codes.

 

what's the code. Evap and vacuum are two different things. Very common is the vent solonoid to go out.

 

What code is it throwing? Get a cheap scan tool or similar -

Again without code, you are guessing -

Sounds like you checked the vapor canister purge valve (on top of engine), not blowing through- I would guess its OK.
On drivers side frame rail - You have the vapor canister vent solenoid & the charcoal canister. (check code to see if this could be culprit- both are cheap on amazon & AC delco).
