Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Transmission only shifts manually.

np263 and controller should play nice with your electronics and be a direct bolt in. If not just keep your existing shift motor and zip tie it to the side. May have to change the driveshaft length but any driveshaft shop will do that cheap.

from the pictures that you posted do you even have a front differential? you might not need a transfercase at all at that point. just a 2 wheel drive transmission and a rear axel to suit. 4l80 is not a direct bolt on. it is longer and needs transmission crossmember modifications. it might also require a 1" body lift to clear the bell housing.

so you will not need a transfer case or a 4 wheel drive transmission.

4L80E, and the modern 6L80/6L90 need computer, plus manual (stick) options like the T56 Magnum or old school 4L60E, TH400, 200-4R, TH350, Powerglide. there are also adapters for other transmissions. tremec and such.
