Wont shift

2006 H3. Starts fine shifts into drive but won’t shift
goes into reverse and back into drive but just does not not shift. Only stays in first.

Stuck shift solenoids. Get/Add a can of Trans Tune. Shifting should be restored after a few miles. Also try manual shifting after adding the can, then flush/replace the transmission fluid after.

Have you done any work to it lately, like change the Trans Fluid???? Bad or improperly installed Speed Sensor causes the stays in first problem as well.
