Default Replacement bulbs for 4x4 control panel

Looking for the bulb type to replace the 4x4 control panel bulbs.
Disassembled unit, but nothing except they are soldered and have a blue cover.

The HVAC info found in the Forum is spot on.
I cut short strips of a tie wrap to help with opening the housing, made it easier and no broken tabs.

Nearing the end of my project to convert to LED lighting. Thanks,

Like H3Luxembourg states those bulbs are available.
The actual type of bulb is a T4.
I have changed out my bulbs a number of times and finally got LED bulbs of the same T4 style
and then soldered them in and wired them in parallel with a small resistor so as to have them less bright.
No bulb failures in quite some time.

Amazon Amazon

Good luck

Are the bulbs in the HVAC controls, instrument panel, and door window switches the same T4 size?

If you don't have the time or skills to change those, the entire assembly is pretty inexpensive OEM new. Make sure you get the correct configuration.

Appreciate the help. That parallel resistor is what I overlooked. I installed white T4/T4.2 Neo Wedge LED Bulbs and they are bright.
FYI - Replaced the interior 578 with 211-2 578 LED Bulbs, Xtreme Super 6000K and they light it up like crazy.
Thanks,

Thanks,
The resistor you use should be in series, not parallel
