Hummer H2 For those who like a little more gleam to their Hummer, the H2 offers a similar rugged look as the H1, but as a lower cost, and with more added features, making it almost a massive luxury SUV.

Tip please to dingy tow H2

I didn't look that close at the front recovery hooks, they appear to be the same as chevy 2500+ trucks that bolt to the frame.
I was thinking of the rear recovery rings the U-bolt type that have the screw in pin. anyway it's a tad more involved than I anticipated.

the h2 I was seriously considering is said to be run and drive however roadworthy isn't the same.
just recently been looking for decent H2 since I saw a what appeared to be couple inches lower than stock thought it looked better than elevated.have been reading there increasing in value.

Dude! You said u r only going 200 miles.

Cheaper - cleaner - faster to get someone to drive it for u, and you pay their bus or plane back. Or even Uber if cheap enough in your area.

Why mess with all this for a one-time move. Makes no sense.

From what I have read in my 2009 Manual.... That front hitch that uses a pin that drops down thru the bumper is only for PUSHING. Not pulling on. They say the amount on that is 1800 Lbs. They say that you could bend in the front frame rails in using that to be towed. Check your manual for usage on that front receiver connection.

Just My $.02 Worth from my manual.......... INCOMING!!!!!!!!
