Can you flat tow or tow with a car dolly?

 

The H3 can be flat towed; simply put the transfer case in neutral and the trans in park.

 

I had a H3 transmission go out and I snapped in a rebuilt. Towing is not the primary function of the drivetrain in this vehicle. I never drag anything heavier than my dirt bike trailer or jet ski.
So, if you got it like that and you don’t mind spending $, a rebuilt (warranty)trans installed cost me 2600 at my private mechanic (6k new at GM dealer). But I would rather just baby my truck.

 

I was asking about towing the truck on all four wheels or if I had to put it on a trailer

 

You can tow all 4 down. I flat tow my 3 often behind my motorhome.
