Putting 5 halogen spots on roofbar, would it be ok to wire them all together or better on 2 separate switches / relays

 

The factory setup of the optional halogen roof lights wires them all together.... The key is that the main power wire to the lights and the relay can handle the current.

 

All depends on the lights and how much amperage they are pulling. My first question would be why not LED vs halogen? Lower amp draw and depending on the brand can be just as good if not better than old school halogens.

Got ya. Probably need fairly hefty wiring to feed those bad boys. Definitely use a relay setup for the main power feed and ground with a simple 12V feed to an interior switch. You can use an "add a fuse" on the interior accessory fuse to feed any switches within the interior. That is how all my lights are setup.
