Default under dash oem lights???

hey guys, my 05 H2 has the brackets under the dash for lights, but there is no socket or bulb there, not even wiring that I can find,

is this normal? has someone cut them out?

does anyone know how I can wire some in that will still work with the door switches?

thanks

I havent seen any lights in mine, i saw the spots for them though. as with you guys, no wires in my 03. you could wire any lights into the relay for the door lights if you want to have them on that circuit.

if you want a great light setup for cheap if you like regular colors, otherwise the 1 million color LEDS strips are slightly more.

7 Color 4pc LEDGlow LED Interior Lights Lighting Kit

there are also 6 pc light sets, then you can run them in the back as well. I plan to get some for my h2 at some point but havent got around to it yet.

its not OEM but they are really easy to set up and have lots of different settings on them to make them fade off in different times or you can leave them on all the time. The fade would probably be what you are looking for since you want them to come on with the doors.

I have a light in each foot well on my galant and really like them. I have them blue to match my dash lights but it really helps with seeing inside while driving. I dont have mine come on with the doors but it could easily be done as stated above. I only have mine on when my key is turned on. I actually wired mine into the relay for the cig lighter that is only live when the key is on. it was the easiest one for me in my car, there are pleny of them that you could do just as easy though. I have them 2 sided taped on to the dash panel on the drivers side front, i have it mounted on the heater where its flat in the pass front, and both seat rails on the back so they are tucked under far enough not to get kicked by passengers.

overall great lights though, let me know if you want some help finding the right circuit to use in the panel.

I already have every light possible on my 05 h2 LED, from the cab lights, to the DRL, back up, intererior lights, tail lights, even front fog/signal lights, if you want good LED lights I know a guy in CA that can hook you up and pretty inexpensive for CREE lights too (for the interior, drl and backup)
all I am asking is if they aren't OEM how do I hook up the under dash lights, Ive read the white wire on the back of the BCM but I want to make sure before I hack into it
