LoJac, any updates?

 

Nothing so far. The guys out of Montana never got back to me with a shipping quote. I feel like they're a little shady which sucks because I really like that bumper.


Next would be the Fusion Bumper one but he doesn't have pics of the bumper with a winch plate welded so I feel like there's a lot left up in the air. I sent him a big email with a lot of questions but he wanted me to call him instead which I haven't yet.


Iron Bull if the last on the list because I really don't want to get rid of the middle portion of the stock bumper-section with the DRL's. Plus I feel Iron Bull is the same generic shape as all the massive winch bumpers on every truck I see. That being said it is the cheapest and I can locally pick it up.


The problem is I am having a hard time justifying $1,840 on the fusion bumper. Its a hell of a lot of money to spend. I'd almost rather blow $1k and life my new Canyon which is my DD.


I was thinking of trying to make something which connects to the factory tow hook mounts to hold a winch in front of the bumper but I am definitely not a fabricator lol.

I never heard back from them, but you could reach out to them as well. Maybe more people asking about their bumper they would actually get back to us.

 

I too liked that bumper the best.

Thanks for the info, basically the same as Iron Bull or the other ones out there. I can get that same bumper locally which may be the route I go.

 

i took the easy way out with my setup

 

That was going to be my setup as well but it won’t fit in the garage. Not something I want to remove every time I park in the garage.

 

That's what I got. I dont keep it all the time but when going to launch the boat . It comes handy couple times to help fellows
Also when going in road trips. Mostly in winter just in case
