Derek, I don't know anything about the Bulldog winches. I have only had Warn and I know a lot of guys with Mile Marker. You are correct in that you need at least a 9500#. I am sure someone has experience with them.

Spend the extra cash and get the WARN winch.IMO It will be worth every penny. I know some people who have Tmax and the mile marker winches, but they have lighter vehicles, if you intend to use it and I assume you are buying it to put it to use, I would go with the WARN, especially for your H2. I am about to buy one, and it will certainly be WARN, probably the 9.5ti Multi-Mount Winch Kit. Good Luck.

never heard of bulldog, but would have to agree that the Warn 9.5ti is worth every penny. i've stressed mine in every conceivable way and it has never let me down. i've also moved it from front to back for recoveries. the multimount cradle is handy, and the winch itself is a workhorse. you get what you pay for, and i'm happy i paid for this.

mine's rated for 9500 lbs, so if they have a 10k lb winch (?) that would certainly do what you need.

I have the whole assembly to mount it in the front receiver plus the 0 gauge battery cable and quick disconnect. I tell you what, I am coming up to Toronto mid May - How about I bring it with me then - Shipping will be a b*tch. It weighs 136#.

Hope you have a good EXTRA battery and a large alternator
